This START Team Member Award recognizes a START Leader who demonstrates a thorough understanding of the START model and has made significant contributions to improving the quality of life for people supported through START. This recipient exemplifies the START philosophy of positive engagement with individuals, families, and the service system.

This START Team Member Award recognizes a START Resource Center Counselor who demonstrates a thorough understanding of the START model and has made significant contributions to improving the quality of life for people supported through START. This recipient exemplifies the START philosophy of positive engagement with individuals, families, and the service system.

START Network Partner
(Adult Services)

This award recognizes a network partner for their significant contribution, in collaboration with a START team, to improving the system of support for adults with IDD and behavioral health needs. The recipient (individual or organization) embodies the core START concept of enhancing the capacity of the system.

Award Winner:  Erin Eulenfeld, Foothills Gateway, Colorado

 

 

START Network Partner
(Children’s Services)

This award recognizes a network partner for their significant contribution, in collaboration with a START team, to improving the system of support for children with IDD and behavioral health needs. The recipient (individual or organization) embodies the core START concept of enhancing the capacity of the system.

START Coordinator Award

This START Team Member Award recognizes a Certified START Coordinator or Team Leader who demonstrates a thorough understanding of the START model and has made significant contributions to improving the quality of life for people supported through START. This recipient exemplifies the START philosophy of positive engagement with individuals, families, and the service system. START Coordinators should be with a program for at least 1 year and must be certified.

START Team Collaboration Award

A new SNTI Award category created based on TX START Tarrant County Director Linda Kurland’s inspiring nomination. This award recognizes two START team members from Tarrant County that demonstrated exceptional collaboration between the START Clinical Team and START Therapeutic Support Team.

START In-Home Therapeutic Coach Award

This START Team Member Award recognizes a START In-Home Therapeutic Coach who demonstrates a thorough understanding of the START model and has made significant contributions to improving the quality of life for people supported through START. This recipient exemplifies the START philosophy of positive engagement with individuals, families, and the service system.

Award Winner: Josh Hutchins, NC START West

 

 

Care Coordination Award

This award recognizes a case manager or service coordinator who has worked closely and positively with a START team to improve the system of support for individuals with IDD and behavioral health challenges. The recipient recognizes the importance of collaborative, systemic work between START teams and case management/service coordination.
