Continuing Education

The Center for START Services provides free UNH CEUs for attending the Annual START National Training Institute (SNTI), participating in National Online Training Series, and attending select in-person trainings and workshops held across the country. Free New York Social Work CEs are also available to trainees licensed in the state of New York.

Attendees are offered an array of Continuing Education options. Previous CEs offered have included CMEs, APA, NASW, NBCC, New York Social Work CEs, and UNH CEUs (CEs, with the exception of UNH CEUs & NY Social Work CEs, are available at an additional cost).

National Online Training Series

How to Earn UNH CEUs

START National Online Training Series participants can earn 1 or 2 contact hours per series training. Please allow for a 4-6 week processing time.

  • Earn 1 contact hour/0.1 UNH CEUs for viewing a training and completing a post-viewing evaluation
  • Earn 2 contact hours/0.2 UNH CEUs for viewing a training, participating in a post-viewing discussion facilitated by a member of a START team, and completing a post-viewing evaluation. 

How to Earn New York Social Work CEs

New York SW CE are available to those licensed in the state of New York. Trainees can earn 1 "online" contact hour per training . In order to receive a NY SW CE, please complete a training evaluation after viewing the training.  Please allow for 4-6 week processing time.

The Center for START Services, Institute on Disability/UCED, University of New Hampshire, is recognized by the New York State Education Department's State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0452.

Training Evaluations Required to Receive CEUs and CEs

In order to receive CEU and CE certificates of completion, you must complete a post-viewing training evaluation survey. When filling out the survey, select "yes" when asked if you would like to receive CEUs. You will need to provide your name and email address in order to receive a Certificate of Attendance however, your name will not be associated with your evaluation of the training.
