On Thursday February 7th, 2019, Dr. Beasley presented to the National Association of State Directors of Disabilities Services alongside Dr. Josh Berezin and Kate Bishop from New York State. The presentation, entitled "Effective Assessment for Pople Dually Diagnosed,"was the first of a three part webinar series: "State Agencies Roles When Building Effective Supports for People Dually Diagnosed." Josh Berezin, MD, MS, is the Clinical Director of the New York City Field Office of the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and Kate Bishop is the Director of Program Development at the New York Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
What is the National Association of State Directors of Disabilities Services?
The National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services (NASDDDS) represents the nation's agencies in 50 states and the District of Columbia providing services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. NASDDDS promotes visionary leadership, systems innovation, and the development of national policies that support home and community-based services for individuals with disabilities and their families.
