START Wins Poster Award at 35th Annual NADD Conference in Seattle, Washington
Several members of the Center for START Services national team attended and presented last week at the 35th Annual NADD Conference "Dancing in the Rain: Embracing Life Through the Prism of Neurodiversity". Dr. Beasley presented a pre-conference symposia, "It Always Starts with the Person: Understanding Character Strengths, Culture, and Language," with Mary Lou Bourne, NASDDDS Director of National Core Indicators and Quality Assurance, and Tawara Goode, Director of Georgetown University's UCED and Dr. Laurie Charlot and Andrea Caoili, LCSW, presented "Critical Importance Accurate Diagnostic Formulation" in the Diagnostic & Assessment breakout strand. START was also selected as the 35th annual poster session winner.
